Woven on an Automatic Dobby Loom, the Essential Weave is the first weave, the OG, and the ultimate classic. Most similar to the original Turkish Towels (peshtemals) invented in the 17th century, the Essential Weave is lightweight, sleek, and durable. It's yarn dyed so color will remain consistent throughout years of use, and it has 30 yarns per centimeter which is our tightest weave, for a smooth and crisp feel. At 190 GSM, the Essential Weave is the lightest of our weaves in terms of weight/thickness, but not without purpose! The lighter weave means its the fastest drying weave, the easiest/smallest packed weave, and the most durable weave.

Like all of our weaves, the Essential Weave is flat-woven and made from 100% long-staple Turkish cotton, meaning it will get softer and more absorbent with use and wash (as the long fibers in the cotton open up), much like your favorite old flannel.

All of the essentials, optimized for softness! The Essential + Weave has 20 yarns per centimeter meaning the weave is just slightly looser than the Essential Weave, which creates a softer and smoother towel.

The weave that started it all (we could link to 'about us' here or something lol, add in language about the flagship weave blowing us away). Woven on a Semi Automatic Dobby Hand Loom or an Automatic Dobby Loom, our Flagship Weave is a soft, cozy, luxurious masterpiece. It's yarn dyed* so color will remain consistent throughout years of use, and it has 15 yarns per centimeter which creates a looser weave, and a buttery soft feel. Add in 220 GSM, and the Teema Flagship Weave hits that perfect combination of thick, smooth, all-encompassing luxury.

The Flagship Weave is flat-woven and made from 100% long-staple Turkish cotton, meaning it will get softer and more absorbent with use and wash (as the long fibers in the cotton open up), much like your favorite old flannel. It's perfect for those looking for a little something extra, those wanting to be cozy and comfortable, and those who love luxury (who doesn't?).

*The Pastel Tie-Dye features Flagship Weave but is not yarn-dyed. Each Pastel Tie-Dye is hand-dyed meaning each one is unique.*

Woven on Automatic Dobby Looms, the Waffle Weave is one of our most luxurious.The modern, 3-dimensional waffle weave, often only found in spas and resorts creates a very sophisticated and luxe feel, while the stone-dyeing process brings a rustic and vintage element, as well as increased absorbency power. It has 18 yarns per centimeter which makes it a looser Waffle Weave, while 270 GSM means a nice, thick, cozy towel. The final result is a thick, luxurious, textured weave that is also very aesthetically pleasing.

Woven on traditional Jacquard Looms, the Textured Weave is thick, efficient, and durable. It's yarn dyed so color will remain consistent throughout years of use, and it has 20 yarns per centimeter, which means a tighter weave and higher performance. This weave features a Dual Weave, which increases efficiency: one side is completely flat-woven while the opposite side has a diamond weave stitching, increasing absorbency. At 270 GSM this is our 'heaviest' towel.
